Neyland ‘A’ bounced back from the previous week’s disappointment of a first defeat in six years to easily account for Whitland and Haverfordwest ‘B’, winning both their matches with losing a single wicket.
In the other match, Whitland smashed Haverfordwest ‘B’ shooting them out for a paltry 22 runs and taking only 2.3 overs to reach their target.
Game One:
Nathan Banner starred for Neyland in their match against old rivals Whitland, taking 1 for 3 in his miserly two overs and then scoring 25 before he had to retire.
Paul Davies topped the Whitland batting as they managed a respectable 91 for 5 from their allotted ten overs, retiring at 25 and then returning to finish off with 44 not out after all the rest of the team had been dismissed.
Adam Davies (18) and Dan James (13) were the other Whitland players in double figures after Banner had struck early to dismiss Dylan Blain for a duck.
Nick Koomen joined Banner in opening the Neyland reply and he also in reached 25 and had to retire.
But with Neyland back to full strength there was 17 not out from Gregg Miller, making a welcome return to action after injury, and Ashley Sutton (20 not out) finished things off in style in the seventh over with a straight six.

It took Whitland only 15 balls to reach their target, despite having Jack Bowen run out early on, and Haverfordwest helped them along with 13 extras in the process!
