This winter will see the return of Dragons Cricket Coaching Scheme in Pembrokeshire. 
 
This is a real positive for all those young boys and girls in Pembrokeshire with an interest in taking up cricket or further developing their cricket skills and will help to ensure the game remains healthy across the county in years to come.
 
The Pembrokeshire Association of Cricket Coaches (PACC) is organising a number of coaching sessions over the coming months at Dragon Levels 1 - 5.  Young newcomers set out on the Dragons One course and as their skill levels improve so they can pass through to Dragon Five, the ultimate level for our young players to aspire to.

 
Courses available across county

 
To ensure these sessions are as accessible as possible they will take place in Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Narberth. All PACC Lead Coaches are England and Wales Cricket Board-qualified and hold valid DBS certificates.
 
Dragons Cricket provides a step-up from the Kwik Cricket played at Junior School leading to local Club Junior Cricket. Information leaflets will shortly be distributed throughout the county via our schools. These leaflets contain all current course dates and associated fees, which start at £20 for Dragon 1, and details of how to book your place.
 
Dragon 1 & 2 courses are ideal for youngsters in School Years 4, 5 & 6 to prepare them for the more advanced Dragon courses.
 
All courses are suitable for boys and girls. The first Dragon 1 course starts at the Bloomfield Centre, Narberth on Friday 16th October and runs for three consecutive Fridays. There will also be a Dragon 1 and 2 course available during October half-term at Sir Thomas Picton School, Haverfordwest with further courses at the various centres during November.

PACC will be organising Dragon 3, 4 and 5 early in 2016. More information will be made available nearer the time.
 
So if your child has an interest or wishes to improve his or her cricket skills, book them in to the nearest Dragon course.
