Sutton stars as Burton beat neighbours
Burton (214 for 6) beat Johnston (131 all out)
Umpires: John Austin & Rob Cousins
Scorers: Mark Venables and Niall Griffiths
Burton’s veteran batsman Phil Sutton followed a century in his previous innings with a sparkling 141 not out against Johnston that helped his side win and forced the opposition out of the top two in the table.
Sutton stroked 27 fours and a six in his superb knock and there were cameos from Neville Davies (20) and Morgan Scale (11) as Sutton dominated play against the bowling of Paul Hood (3 for 47), Jake Mills (1 for 22), Nathan James (1 for 29) and the rest of the Johnston attack.
Steve Mills led the Johnston counter-attack with 57 (seven fours and three sixes) but there was no-one who stayed with him long enough to affect the result before Chris Goodridge chipped in with a late 25 not out. Johnnie Scale (4 for 36), Morgan Scale (3 for 9) and Jack Davies (2 for 36) were the main Burton bowlers as they picked up maximum points – and moved into mid-table as their reward.
Burton veteran Steve Jones - bowling as well as ever!

Table-toppers too strong for Town
Saundersfoot (123 for 1) beat Haverfordwest 2nds (122 all out)
Umpires: Les Hastings & Mervyn John
Scorers: Adge John & Alison Sanders
Saundersfoot were far too strong for a Haverfordwest Seconds’ team weakened by calls into the first team and gained a resounding nine-wicket win that extended their lead at the top of the table to a massive 84 points.
Jamie Jenkins (19), Dan Field (18) and Kern Cunningham (13) made contributions before No 10 Avron Roulstone smashed a late 25 as Danny Caine (2 for 28), Simon Wood (3 for 40), Dai Davies (3 for 30) and Jack Franklyn (3 for 14) claimed the wickets for the Seasiders.
123 runs to win was never going to be a challenge for Saundersfoot as Sam Franklyn (21) and Paul Mansbridge shared an opening stand of 62. Mansbridge has been in imperious form of late and he had 17 fours and a six en route to his 80 not out, with Phil Jones adding 12 not out of an unbroken stand of 61 as Saundersfoot reached their target in only 22 overs.

Skipper Lewis steers Cresselly to easy win
Lamphey (134 all out) lost to Cresselly 2nds 135 for 1
Umpire: David Loosmore:
Scorers: Helen Hodges & Des Brace
Skipper Matthew Lewis certainly led Cresselly 2nds well in their comfortable win at Lamphey as he won the toss and put Lamphey in to bat before claiming five wickets – and then devised an opening batting partnership whose combined ages were just 33 and took their side to a nine-wicket win in only 24 overs.
Peter McGilloway (22), Grant Cole (25), Nick Shelmerdine (17) and Gianluca Tremarco (17) topped the Lamphey batting chart against Lewis (5 for 26), Harry Thomas (2 for 30), Tom Arthur (2 for 27) and Richard Arthur (1 for 34).
Then 16 year old Harry Thomas and 17 year old George Wilkins combined in an opening stand of 125 before Wilkins departed for 56 (eight fours). Thomas was still there at the finish, however, with 59 not out (eight fours) as he and Alex bailey hit off the remaining runs that kept Lamphey firmly in the bottom two in the table.

Whitland win with ease
Whitland (173 for 2) beat Stackpole (171 all out)
Umpire: Peter Perry
Scorers: Ann-Marie Jenkins & Claire Cox
Whitland 2nds big win over Stackpole meant that they distanced themselves from the relegation battle whilst pinning Stackpole firmly to the foot of the table.
James Adie topped the Stackpole batting with 58 runs alongside Hugh Davies (27), John Williams (14), Anthony Canton (21), Jonathan Willington (13) and Huw Mason (10 not out) but Dai Lee grabbed 3 for 30 alongside fellow vet Stuart Harries (2 for 26), plus a wicket apiece for Geraint Jones, Geraint Phillips, Paul Webb and Matthew Davies so that although 170 was a reasonable score it might be easily attainable on such a good batting track.
And that is how it turned out because despite a wicket apiece for Adie and Josh Davies Whitland were soon in control as Dai Lee completed an excellent personal performance with 80 runs before he was bowled by Adie.
Paul Webb (31) joined him in an excellent opening stand of 109 and it was left to Wayne Jones to apply the coup de grace with his 40 not out.

Weston stars as Pembroke slam Carew
Pembroke (223 for 9) beat Carew 2nds (77 all out)
Umpire: Allan Hansen
Rob Weston was once again the all-round star for Pembroke against Carew 2nds as he top scored with 95 runs and then claimed three wickets for only two runs to help Pembroke climb into second spot in the section table.
Weston had 14 fours and a six in his 95 before he was lbw to Joel Read, who grabbed 4 for 64 in cahoots Lewis Hicks (3 for 36), John Harries (1 for 40) and Luke Hicks (1 for 19). Barry Evans (38), Paul White (32) and Ceri Brace (14) also contributed for Pembroke alongside Jonathan Rogers (11 not out).
Dafydd Bevan (24) and Mark Hicks (17) batted well for Carew but they were soon in trouble against Weston, Jonathan Rogers (1 for 28), Jack Harries (4 for 30) and Brace (1 for 11) so that they were shot out for 77 to give Pembroke a welcome maximum hail of points.
