Vikings just miss out in cracking contest

Cardiff Chiefs 17 - Pembrokeshire Vikings 12

The Pembrokeshire Vikings travelled up to Llandaff RFC on Sunday 13th October to take on the Cardiff Chiefs.

It was a hard-fought game, the Chiefs went ahead with two early scores, but the Vikings fought back with a try from Callum Power, who also converted.

Ross Price also had a 50-yard sprint to the line to score his well-deserved try. Jack Colley, Nathan Jones, Sean McKenzie, John-Joe McDonagh, John Ellis, Youssef El Tawab and James Tyler put in great performances for the Vikings.

Richard Williams played his first ever game of rugby, winning his first start. A great day out was had by all.

Vikings’ Squad:  John-Joe McDonagh, Youssef El Tawab, Grahm Elliott, Tom Brown, James Tyler, Gareth Rees, Gethin Bateman, Shaun Treadwell, Callum Power, Jack Colley, Karl Bate, John Ellis, Josh Price, Ross Price, Paul Clayton, Ryan Thomas, Dave Roberts, Richard Williams, Sean Mackenzie-Hughes, Simon Radford, Gordon Lewis, Nathan Jones, Andrew Meddings
