Seagulls appoint club ambassador

Fishguard RFC Ambassadors
Fishguard & Goodwick RFC,  like other clubs around Wales, recently held their NatWest Rugby Force Day, which was linked to the Round Table soap box derby, with both proving to be a big success.

The Nat West Rugby Force Day by the club was aimed at recruiting new players, members and volunteers and a special part of the day came as the club also awarded four youth team players with the role of Club Ambassador.

Splendid new initiative

This is a first for the club; an initiative set up by Coaching Co-ordinator James Morgans and the boys all play youth rugby for the club and have showed their commitment be becoming Level 1 referees and also Level 1 coaches.

They also attend Mini and Jnr training sessions as well as other club duties and it was decided to reward what they do with the Ambassador role.

Also present to give the awards was the CEO of the WRU, Martyn Phillips, who praised all them all for their enthusiasm and dedication.
