Merlins Bridge mounted a terrific second half comeback to seal an unlikely victory against shell-shocked Kilgetty at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village.

Kilgetty led 3-0 at half time and at that stage it looked as if it was going to be a routine second half win for the visitors, however Wizards boss Mike Preddy was delighted with his side’s character and desire as they clawed back the deficit to pick up their third win of the season.

The visitors were two-up with only 17 minutes on the clock both scored by Kyle Marsh, the central defender powerfully headed home Lloyd Hughes’ corner for the opener, then he added the second as a half cleared corner was lashed home from inside the 18 yard area.

In the 77th minute the Wizards were reduced to ten men as two-goal hero Dimond was issued a second yellow card, but the hosts were still determined to get the win as skipper Jordan Thomas’ cross fell to substitute David Cromwell who struck an 89th minute volley for the winner to stun Kilgetty.
