Dalling double sinks The Road
Clarbeston Road 0 – Goodwick United 3
Deadly striker Rhys Dalling struck twice also mercurial midfielder Rhys Jones bagged with another trademark set piece to secure crucial win for leaders Goodwick United against Clarbeston Road at Knock Field.
It was goalless at the interval as the visitors went close on several occasions, Will Haworth forced a good save from Road goalkeeper Rhys Mansell, who also palmed away a vicious Dalling shot, midfielder Jones struck a 25 yard free kick inches over the crossbar.
On the hour mark Chris O’Sullivan’s team finally opened the scoring as Will Haworth cut in from the flank before his deflected cross fell to Dalling who volleyed home from close range.
Seven minutes later the Phoenix Lads were awarded a free kick just outside the Road’s 18 yard box, up stepped dead ball specialist Jones who drilled his effort through the wall as it beat outstretched keeper Mansell with the ball nestled in the far corner.
On the stroke of full time Goodwick added a third as substitute Kieran Blundell’s good work set up Dalling who calmly slotted past the advancing Mansell which ensured the champions bagged the points and remain a point clear at the top of the table.

Rooks too hot for Tenby in goals fest
Carew 8 – Tenby 3
Carew produced an impressive eight goals fest to humble Tenby but more importantly picked up another precious three points at the Gerald Hicks Memorial Ground.
Rooks’ manager Chris Richards will be pleased his side are now five points clear of the dreaded drop, plus this was their second win on the trot, but for Tenby this was not their finest day as they sit fourth in the table.
In form striker Marcus Griffiths struck which gave the hosts an early lead, but minutes later Jerome Williams struck an equaliser before skipper Daniel Storer put the visitors 2-1 ahead.
In this end-to-end tussle Griffiths equalised for the Rooks, Leon Davies added the fourth before Griffiths added the fourth, it gave the top notch striker a hat-trick in just 33 minutes.
James Hinchliffe was on target for Carew’s fifth, on the stroke of half time Williams added his second of the match as the score read 5-3 in favour of the hosts.
Hinchliffe grabbed goal number six for the hosts before two further goals were added late by skipper Sonny Phillips and substitute Connor Hay.

Vikings are too hot for derby rivals
Hakin United 7 - Milford United 0
Hakin United grabbed seven goals without reply against close neighbours Milford United which has kept them in the hunt in the title race.
Scott Davies’ Vikings are just a point behind leaders and current champions Goodwick, in this kind of form they will take it right down to the wire.
Leon Luby opened the scoring with a quality finish, skipper Ryan Wilson was on target with the second, Mark Jones’ sumptuous cross was met by a powerful Shane Walsh far post header as the Vikings led 3-0 at half time.
In the second period the hosts continued to dominate over relegated haunted Robins, Wilson added the fourth for his second of the game, Luby added the fifth with a delightfully struck direct free kick, it also gave the wide man a brace.
Three minutes before half time, returning from a lengthy injury spell substitute Alfie Stotter fired in the sixth, also youngster Corey Riley came off the bench to score the seventh from the spot in stoppage time.

Stirring second half display by Kilgetty
Kilgetty 6 – St Ishmaels 1
Kilgetty put on a stirring second half display hitting struggling St Ishmaels for six at the Kingsmoor Ground.
Lloyd Hughes scored the opener for Kilgetty on the stroke of half time in a tight opening 45 minutes.
After the break Tish levelled matters as the unfortunate Kilgetty defender Ross Hurst put the ball into his on net.
On the hour mark the hosts began to turn the screw as the dangerous Hughes added a second, minutes later substitute Sam Christopher bagged the third as the hosts grew in confidence.
Kilgetty continued to put Tish under pressure and were rewarded as Henry Lawrence was on target with the fourth, substitute Kyle Huges added the fifth also Christopher, got his second of the match as he struck the sixth.

Pennar edge win over Wizards
Pennar Robins 2 – Merlins Bridge 1
Pennar Robins edged victory over battling Merlins Bridge to claim the points at Bush Camp.
This was a highly competitive game as Pennar claimed their sixth win of the season as they lie fifth in the table and the Wizards are fourth from bottom.
Daniel James pounced for the opening goal on 13 minutes from inside the box after he was unselfishly set-up by Jamie Wilkes.
Three minutes before the interval the hosts added a second, as Sean Edmundson teed-up Cameron Brunton - the latter who made no mistake with a quality strike from inside the box.
Nine minutes from full time the Wizards pulled one back as Liam Manwaring’s excellent work saw him set up Tomos Gwilliam strike his effort into the top corner.
The Wizards had two players put in the sin bin and it proved too big an ask for nine players to find an late equaliser against the resolute Robins.

Swifts too hot for basement strugglers
Herbrandston 0 – Monkton Swifts 9
Monkton Swifts scored nine goals without reply on their visit to rock bottom Herbrandston.
The visitors led 3-0 at half time as Connor Davies, Jonathan Lee and Gareth Finnegan all found the back of the net..
In the second period the Swifts dominated as Finnegan added the fourth, for his second of the game, Dylan Davies added the fifth from the spot.
On the hour mark Lee struck the sixth, it was also his second goal of the game, Rhys Hughes was on target with the seventh, Davies added the eighth, the third player to score twice in the match, Stuart James added the ninth.
