This year's final was between the top two sides from both zones with Haverfordwest coming out on top over Cresselly in a tremendous advert for local junior cricket after Cresselly 11's beat their Under 10's (credit to them for having two sides in the semi-final) and Haverfordwest beating Narberth in the other semi-final.
The Under11s game is played in a pairs format and Haverfordwest captain Will Davies won the toss against his counter-part Cody James and decided to bowl first.
Cresselly show good batting skills as The Town bowlers keep things tight
The standard of play by both teams was first class and the tone was set by Arthur Jenkins and Jack Mears, when in the first over Arthur struck an excellent extra cover drive for 4 and the pair put on 15 runs together.
Alfie Morgan and Rhys White put on 14 with Alfie looking very good scoring 11. However the Haverfordwest bowling was very tight and accurate, and the batters could not accelerate the run rate.
Mari Cole and Bobby Shapcott put on another 10 with Cody James and Walter Evans adding 5 runs for the last pair. For Haverfordwest Will Davies bowled 3 overs for 5 runs and Noah Evans only conceded 8 in his spell. However it was Elin Field (1-12) and Harri Atyeo (2-7) who took the vital wickets for Haverfordwest as Cresselly finished on 261-3
The Town also bat well to build a winning total

Haverfordwest openers Osian Mills and Ed Raymond started slowly with a partnership of 8, but not losing a wicket, with tight bowling by the Cresselly openers, Noah Dewstowe (10) with some lovely shots all around the ground and Elin Field (9) with an excellent leg glance accelerated the scoring for the 2
nd pair.
Ryan Dewstowe (8 and Noah Evans (4) continued to score and the whole Haverfordwest team ran between the wickets exceptionally well, which was a major factor in the game. Will Davies and Harri Ayeo finished the innings with Harri scoring 13. Cresselly rang the changes with their bowlers but on the night could not quite stop the quality of the Haverfordwest batting. Arthur Jenkins only conceded 4 runs and Mari Cole 8 runs and despite Rhys White (1-12), Jack Mears (1-13) and Cody James (2 -11) Haverfordwest finished on 279-4 to win the final.
The Evan Martin Trophy for player of the match, Evan still being a stalwart of Hook CC for many years, picked by Mathew Holder, was awarded to a jubilant Harri Atyeo with special mention to Elin Field.
Again it was great to see a large crowd of knowledgeable spectators who certainly saw some entertaining Cricket.
In the presentation after the match Martin Jones (Junior Organiser) congratulated both sides on reaching the Final with some excellent play by both, and Haverfordwest for their victory. Both sides should be proud of their Junior sections. He thanked Hook for hosting the final and Dave Petrie for preparing the ground
He also thanked Allan Hansen for umpiring , Scorers Simon Williams & Simon Cole who all contributed to the evening’s entertainment.
Last and by no means least he thanked sponsors Colin John of Llewelyn Davies & Co Chartered Accountants, for his continued and valuable support of Junior Cricket in the County together with Trefor Evans County President for presenting the medals & trophies. Afterwards the Hook Club provided refreshments for the players, which was well received.
