The visitors from Bridgend play in the South Wales Senior League Division Two, as the determined Vikings deservedly claimed a stunning victory, Adam Davies scored midway through the first half, that gave the Vikings a one-goal cushion at half time, then in the second period, striker Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding grabbed a superb brace to ensure his side’s name is placed in the hat for the quarter final draw.

Only four out of six games scheduled went ahead in Saturday’s Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.

Merlins Bridge slipped to their third defeat in a row, this time St Clears won 1-2 at the Racecourse. Grabbing the goals for the triumphant Saints were Gareth Griffiths and Sean Seymour-Davies, skipper Stephen McNabney netted the Wizards’ only goal in another disappointing display.

Neyland have gone second in the table after impressively winning 3-1 at home against Pennar Robins. Wayne Parry (2) and Sean Hannon scored for the high-flying Nomads, and Ben Steele replied with a solitary penalty.

Angle grabbed a surprise 1-2 victory at stunned Herbrandston. Scott Reid scored the opener for Herbie, but the visitors claimed the points with well-taken goals from Gareth Richards and Chris Richards.

Second from bottom West Dragons came from behind to beat Johnston 2-1 at home. Steve Mills struck first that gave the Tigers the lead, but Jamie Palmer equalised for the Dragons and team-mate Lee Palmer scored the winner.

Narberth versus Goodwick United and Tenby versus Monkton Swifts matches were both called off due to waterlogged pitches.
