Skinny bags extra time cup winner for delighted Hakin United

Hakin United won in extra time to march into the last eight of the West Wales Intermediate Cup - plus there were six Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League matches completed on Saturday.
Hakin United won
3-2 in extra time to defeat Swansea League First Division St Josephs and reach the quarter finals of the competition, where they will now have a home draw against holders Goodwick United at the Obs.
Shane Walsh and Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding scored the goals for the Vikings as the score stood 2-2 at full time. After the first period of extra time it stayed 2-2, but with just two minutes to go Skinny pounced to score a dramatic winner for the triumphant Vikings.

In the First Division, Scott Ferney scored twice to earn Carew a
2-0 victory at home against Pennar Robins.
Jason Griffiths 4 and Ben John netted for Clarbeston Road who defeated bottom of the table Herbrandston
5-3. Skipper and captain Scott Reid claimed a hat-trick in vain for the visitors.
Second placed Goodwick United thrashed Saundersfoot Sports
11-1 at home. The Phoenix Lads’ goals were shared by Rhys Dalling 5, Scott Delaney (penalty), Jonny Horgan 2, Lee Hudgell, Jordan Griffiths and Jamie Evans. Sports’ Nick Cope netted his side’s only goal from the penalty spot.
Top of the table Monkton Swifts convincingly won
5-0 at home against Milford United. Dylan Davies scored a terrific hat-trick with Chris Richards and Daniel Scourfield also finding the back of the net for the high-flying Swifts.
Narberth narrowly lost
2-3 at home against Merlins Bridge. Jordan Williams and Dafydd Wright were on target for the Bluebirds, but the Wizards nicked the points thanks to a brace from player manager Matthew D’Ivry also Joe Leahy struck.
St Clears returned to winning ways with a comfortable
5-2 victory at home against Neyland. The Saints’ scorers were Steve Thomas 2, Jonny Thomas, Will Evans and the returning Sean Seymour-Davies. Jake Booth netted a brace for the well-beaten Nomads.
