Five League games in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division went ahead on Saturday, and teams from the county were involved in cup competitions.
 
Top of the table West Dragons gained a narrow 2-1 victory against bottom of the table Carew. Scott Crawford and Jordan Thomas scored for Dragons whilst Alex Bayley struck for Rooks.

Goodwick United drew 0-0 with Milford United at Phoenix Park. Goodwick’s Chris O’Sullivan was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg; Pembrokeshiresport.co.uk wishes the midfielder a speedy recovery.
 
Sean Hannon (2) Nathan Warlow and Henry Durrant scored the goals that helped Neyland win 4-0 at home against Herbrandston.

Ben Steele netted Hakin United’s only goal as they lost 5-1 at Gwent outfit Pontymister, to crash out of the FAW Trophy.
 
There was better joy for teams from Pembrokeshire involved in the West Wales Intermediate Cup second round.
 
Coedffranc 2-9 Camrose - the visitors goal scorers with a brace each for Will Haworth, Laurie Haworth, Richard Nash, Jame Hay and a solitary strike by Jay Johnston.
 
Merlins Bridge won 7-1 at Felinfoel; Solva won 4-3 at home against Bonymaen Colts. William Griffin (2), Phil Isles and Joe Elliott netted for the homesters.
 
Ystradgynlais won 4-2 at home against St Clears, Nathan Evans and Sean Seymour Davies netted for the Saints.
 
Two cup ties were postponed, Monkton Swifts versus Gorseinon Athletic and Saundersfoot Sports versus Rockspur – both ties will be played next Saturday, weather permitting!
