West Wales Intermediate Cup – Quarter Final

Strong looking holders Penlan ran out comfortable winners against Milford United to reach the semi-final stage of this prestigious competition.
 
Last week, the game was postponed due to a water logged Marble Hall, however this week the surface was in good condition.
 
After a tight opening  the visitors finally opened the scoring in the 36^th minute through Jordan Doyle to lead 1-0 at half time.
 
After the break Steve Parks’ Robins outfit were determined to reduce the deficit, but in the 57^th minute Doyle bagged his and the West Wales Premier outfit’s second goal.
 
Just three minutes later the visitors added a third goal through Darren Rowe to kill off the tie.
 
Penlan will now meet Goodwick United in a tasty semi-final fixture with the venue and date yet to be announced.
