Pembrokeshire’s top two sides went head-to-head as it finished in a draw as the score read 1-1 at the Obs on Tuesday night in front of a decent crowd.
 
The Vikings opened the scoring five minutes before half time as the lively Alfie Stotter set-up Shane Walsh, who slotted past Nick Jones.
 
However, the champions immediately hit back as James Bryan’s teasing cross in the box was met by a looping header by Rhys Dalling which found the back of the net.
 
Incredibly there was no further goals in the second period so both sides had to settle for a point apiece, but the Vikings currently sit top of the table on goals difference with secondplaced Goodwick and third-spot Tenby on the same points.
 
Carew lost 1-3 against near neighbours Monkton Swifts at the Gerald Hicks' Recreational Ground.
 
Joe Lewis’ Swifts outfit led two-nothing at half time, as Ben Steele and Dylan Davies scored for the visitors. Midway through the second period Davies bagged his second of the match,  the Swifts’ third,  before minutes later James Hinchliffe scored for what was to be a consolation effort for the Rooks.
 
Clarbeston Road narrowly defeated Milford United 1-0 at home.
 
This was the Road’s first win of the season; after  they drew their previous two games. The Robins contested well in this tight clash but the defining moment came in the 82nd minute as Travis Jones found the back of Charlie Malloy’s net to secure the points.
 
Herbrandston’s woeful start of the season continued as they lost 6-0 at home against Merlins Bridge.
 
Nathan Evans and Jordan Thomas bagged two goals each as the Wizards led 4-0 at the break. and Incredibly after the interval Thomas added two further goals to give the centre back a personal goals haul of four.
 
Kilgetty were well beaten by arch rivals Tenby 4-0 at the Kingsmoor Ground.
 
The visitors opened the scoring as Joe Leahy made no mistake from the spot,  before Daryl Mansbridge added a second as the visitors led 2-0 at half time.
 
Tenby scored twice in the second period to put the result beyond doubt as Jerome Mansbridge and Fraser Finlay found the back of the net.
 
St Ishmaels narrowly lost 2-3 at home against Pennar Robins.
 
The visitors controlled matters in the first half as they led 3-1. Luke Phillips made no mistake from the spot for the opener, Tish levelled matters as Ieuan Hawkins scored, but two goals in the space of a minute by Ben Adams gave the Robins a healthy lead.
 
Skipper Brennan Devonald pulled one back for Tish in the second period, but Pennar stood firm for the remainder to secure the all-important points.
