It was a good night for draws in the top flight

 
Sean Pemberton and Rhys Dalling both scored for Goodwick United against St IshmaelsRemarkably four out of the six top flight games finished in a score draw on Tuesday (27th August) night.
 
Champions Goodwick United won 5-1 against St Ishmaels at Phoenix Park. Adam Kingsbeer struck which gave Tish an early lead, Rhys Jones equalised on the stroke of half time. Shortly after the break Rhys Dalling struck his side’s second, six minutes later Dalling added the third, vastly experienced central defender Sean Pemberton added a fourth before Jones struck the fifth.
 
Early table toppers Hakin United picked up a convincing 10-0 victory at near neighbours Herbrandston. Manager Scott Davies will be delighted his team have won their opening two games; the Vikings bagged five goals as the dominated proceedings. Former player boss Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding scored a hat-trick also striker Shane Walsh bagged three goals, Ben Aldred scored early, skipper Ryan Wilson also found the back of the net, new signing Jordan Kilby, and Kieran King added their names to the scoresheet.
 
Pennar Robins drew 1-1 with Tenby at Bush Camp. Dan James set up Jamie Wilkes who bagged the opener, but new signing Joe Leahy made no mistake from the spot midway through second half to earn his side a welcome point.
 
Shane Walsh claimed a hat-trick at Herbrandston for HakinClarbeston Road drew 1-1 against Kilgetty at Knock field. Matthew Davies assisted for team-mate Laurie Haworth who buried his effort that gave the hosts the lead, but Jordan Gorman pounced for an 88th minute equaliser thanks to an excellent assist by Josh Bevan.
 
Monkton Swifts drew 3-3 against Merlins Bridge at Monkton Lane. The Swifts got off to a flyer as Paul Miller and Will Davies both scored for the hosts, in between Will Evans missed a spot kick for the Wizards, but David Cromwell and Liam Manwaring made amends, but just before the break Cromwell added a third to give the Wizards a slender 3-2 lead at half time. In a tight second half Connor Hay set-up Miller for an equaliser for the Swifts.
 
At Marble Hall, Milford United drew 2-2 against Carew. The Rooks broke the deadlock through Sonny Phillips just before half time. On the hour mark Scott Griffiths equalised for the Robins, ten minutes later the hosts took the lead as Liam Parks scored. However, eight minutes later James Hinchliffe assisted for Leon Davies who grabbed a timely equaliser.
