The Rooks are currently seven points clear of the relegation zone, while Tenby slipped to their sixth defeat of the campaign.

Carew took the lead on 30 minutes when James Hinchliffe drilled hard and low on the diagonal which found the bottom corner of Dylan Noot’s net which gave his side a slender one goal cushion at half time.

Three minutes after the break the Rooks doubled their lead as Connor Davies shot was parried by keeper Noot, but the 16 year old quickly followed up to head home the rebound.

Three minutes later the visitors pulled one back from a corner as former Rook Adam Muskett glanced in a near post header.

On the 70th minute mark the Rooks added a crucial third as substitute Sam Christopher made no mistake with a one-on-one with Noot.

Both goals were scored in the first period, the hosts scored early through Richard Tebbutt who clinically finished from a neat Lloyd Hughes assist.

Neither side could find an elusive winner in the second half as both settled for a point apiece.
