Robins too hot for Swifts in derby affair
Monkton Swifts 1 – Pennar Robins 4
Pennar Robins gained a resounding victory against close neighbours Monkton Swifts at Monkton Lane.
The result sees Pennar leap-frog Monkton in the table as they currently sit sixth and the Swifts are seventh.
Dan James finished from close range for an early opener created by an accurate low Liam Williams cross from the right. Luke Phillips added the second from the spot also Ross Jones added another to put the visitors 3-0 at half time.
On the hour mark Dylan Davies pulled one back for the Swifts from the penalty spot, but the Robins had the final say as Dan James struck the fourth for his second goal of the game to secure his side’s derby bragging rights.

Goals galore is the order of the day
Carew 4 – Kilgetty 8
Lloyd Hughes and Jordan Richards bagged a hat-trick each as Kilgetty won a high scoring tussle against Carew at the Gerald Hicks Recreational Ground.
The visitors led 3-1 at the interval in an end-to-end entertaining clash where George Waters gave the Rooks an early lead, but the visitors hit back with goals by Lloyd Hughes, Sean O’Neill and Jordan Richards.
After the break Richards added the fourth for Kilgetty as Marcus Griffiths and James Hinchliffe scored to put the Rooks right back in the game.
However, the visitors struck four further quick-fire goals through Richard Cope, Hughes scored twice to complete his treble also Richards added the eighth, late on Rook’s substitute Shaun Whitfield added a consolation fourth for Carew.

Goodwick too hot for weak Robins
Goodwick United 7 – Milford United 0
Champions Goodwick United returned to the top of the table after a convincing victory against under strength Milford United at Phoenix Park.
As Hakin United drew 1-1at Tenby, the Phoenix Lads took full advantage to claim victory and move two points clear.
The Phoenix Lads were 3-0 ahead at half time and added four further goals after the break.
Rhys Jones opened the scoring with a stunning trademark 25 yard free kick, Will Haworth added the second as Dalling’s shot was parried by goalkeeper Charlie Malloy straight the midfielder who profited from close range.
Jones added his second for Goodwick’s third as the midfielder headed home Haworth’s teasing cross from inside the box.
Goodwick continued to dominate in the second period and were rewarded with further goals scored by Dalling, Jonny Horgan and substitutes Dan Bryce, and a first senior goal for Kieran Blundell for his new club.

Haworth double sinks Wizards
Merlins Bridge 1 – Clarbeston Road 4
Laurie Haworth scored twice to help Clarbeston Road who came from behind to claim victory against derby rivals Merlins Bridge at the Pembrokeshire Sports Village 4G pitch.
The Wizards took an early lead as Tom Jago slotted past Rhys Mansell, but Clarby fought back as an unfortunate Dai Davies own goal levelled matters before Haworth scored from the sport put his side 2-1 up at the break.
Shortly after the break Haworth added his side’s third also striker Ben John added a fourth in stoppage time to wrap up proceedings.

Five-star Devonald leads Tish to first win
St Ishmaels 8 – Herbrandston 0
Captain marvel Brennan Devonald bagged five goals and two assists as St Ishmaels crushed Herbrandston in this bottom of the table clash.
This was Tish’s first win of the season, and it was helped by a five-star showing by man of the match Devonald who put his side 4-0 up at half time.
After the interval there were further goals for Max Howells, Devonald and Joel Mills struck two late goals to complete the rout.

Tenby 1 – Hakin United 1
Tenby frustrated title-seeking Hakin United as this tussle ended in a draw at the Clicketts Ground.
The Vikings will be annoyed they didn’t pick up the three points as Tenby led through an early header by Sam Butler, it took the Vikings nigh on 78 minutes before they equalised.
Hakin had chances but found it hard to find a way past excellent home keeper Daniel Evans, Jack Griffiths went close also Jay Kilby struck the home side’s crossbar as frustration crept in.
However, Kilby finally found the back of the net with a close range header to earn Hakin a point when all looked lost at one stage.
