Clarby win on the Road at Kilgetty

Clarbeston Road grabbed two late goals which put the shine on an excellent victory against Kilgetty at the Kingsmoor Ground.
 
Matthew Fox will be delighted his Clarby Road out picked up their ninth win of the season as they sit pretty in third position in the table whilst Kilgetty are mid table in seventh.
 
The visitors took the lead as Kilgetty keeper Kurtis Marsh was credited with an own goal, just four minutes later Lloyd Hughes equalised.
 
Clarby Road were awarded a penalty in the 41st minute which Travis Jones made no mistake from 12 yards, but on the stroke of half time Hughes once again equalised to level matters at half time.
 
In a tight second period the Road regained the lead through Laurie Haworth, then two goals in stoppage time by Rhys Lloyd-Roberts and Ben John sealed a good day at the office the Mat Fox’s team.

Pennar Robins 1 – Carew 1

 

Jamie Wilkes - scored for Pennar Robins then saw red near end of game and will now be suspendedCarew came from behind to secure a crucial draw against Pennar Robins at Bush Camp.

 
Scott Richards’ Rooks outfit  are hovering just two points above the relegation zone, with only five games remaining this was a step in the right direction.
 

After a goalless first period it was the Robins who opened the scoring in the 64th minute as Dan James teed-up Jamie Wilkes who found the back of Jack Harries’ net.

 
Six minutes later the visitors grabbed an equaliser through striker Marcus Griffiths, the hosts’ day took a turn for the worse as goal scorer Wilkes was issued a straight red card by referee Sean O’Connor in the 88th minute, this means that the striker will be suspended for this Friday’s (7th March) eagerly awaited Senior Cup semi-final against Hakin United at the Ogi Bridge Meadow Stadium, kick off is at 7pm.

Skipper Wilson’s double sinks Tish

Ryan Wilson scored twice for Hakin United who were made to work hard for their victory against derby rivals St Ishmaels.
 
It too 27 minutes before the visitors opened the scoring as Jack Britton fed Leon Luby who cut in from his wing and struck a low left footed effort in the bottom corner of Jonathan Pawlett’s net.
 
A minute later the Vikings added their second as once again Britton the provider for skipper Wilson to round keeper Pawlett to stroke the ball into empty net.
 
In the 64th minute Scott Davies’ Vikings added a third as Shane Walsh played a through ball for Wilson who calmly slotted past Pawlett to complete the scoring.
