Deadly Stotter earns Vikings easy win over out of sorts Clarby

Hakin United easily brushed aside out of sorts Clarbeston Road at the Obs to keep their unbeaten start to the season.
 
The Vikings led 5-0 with barely 20 minutes on the clock, Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding grabbed an early opener, the striker buried an opportunity from eight yards.
 
Six minutes later Leon Luby teed-up Alfie Stotter who made no mistake from close range. Goal scorer Stotter assisted for the third, as Harding found the back of the net for his second of the game.
 
Mark Jones headed home a Luby corner at the far post for the fourth, minutes later another deep Luby corner saw Kieran King nod home at the far post.
 
On the hour mark King drilled home from the edge of the box, his low drive beat keeper Rory Mansell at his near post.
 
Five minutes later, some neat build up led to Stotter scoring the seventh with an exquisite strike which beat Mansell diving to his left.
 
Stotter completed his hat-trick ten minutes later as the man of the match got on the end of another Luby assist as he buried his left footed shot into the back of the net to complete the scoring.

Leon Davies struck a second half winner to earn Carew a narrow victory against Merlins Bridge on the 4G surface at Haverfordwest High School.
 
In a tight first half it was the hosts who should have led, but some superb saves by James Harries denied David Cromwell and George Mabuzane as the score read 9-0 at the interval.
 
Finally, it was the visitors who broke the deadlock as the industrious and creative Zac Rowell set-up Leon Davies who found the back of the net, which turned out to be the only goal of a competitive clash.

Robins claim worthy win at Marble Hall

A goal in each half was enough to earn Milford United a thoroughly deserved victory over battling Kilgetty at Marble Hall.
 
The Robins played some neat football on the deck, plus the extra pace up front caused the visitors’ defence plenty of problems.
 
Liam Parr scored the opener in the 21st minute, as the striker struck from 12 yards from a neat Tyler Sheil cut-back.
 
The Robins defence coped well from the visitors aerial threat, often breaking on the counter.
 
In the 75th minute the Robins grabbed an important second as Sam Davies broke from deep on a 40 yard run, he unselfishly squared it in the box for the deadly Scott Reid who buried his effort past Kurtis Marsh.

Swifts turn on style in second half

Monkton Swifts proved too strong for St Ishmaels as they gained a comfortable three points at Monkton Lane.
 
Swifts’ skipper Ben Steele scored a 17 yard bullet header provided by a Jay Kilby corner that gave the hosts an early lead.
 
Minutes later the visitors equalised as young Swifts’ goalkeeper Taylor Gullam spilled an Adam Kingsbeer cross which allowed Ieuan Hawkins the chance to find the back of the net.
 
It remained 1-1 at half time, but in the second period the Swifts began to turn territory and chances into goals.
 
Four minutes after the interval Dylan Davies teed-up Billy Davies who made no mistake for the second.
 
Midway through the second period they added a third as Steel’s neat ball found Paul Miller who neatly chipped keeper Owen Thomas from 20 yards.
 
The best was saved until last, as a half cleared corner fell to Dylan Davies who struck a first time wicked 18 yard volley which flew in the top corner.

Champions Goodwick United had to work extremely hard to gain victory against an impressive battling Pennar Robins at Bush Camp.
 
The visitors got off to a flyer as skipper Scott Delaney rose highest in the box to header home a neat Rhys Jones free kick.
 
But for the remainer of the half neither side could find the back of the net in a keenly fought encounter.
 
In stoppage time the visitors were awarded a penalty by referee Martin Jones as he spotted Robins’ Connor Roberts who fouled striker Rhys Darling inside the box, as cool as you like up stepped Rhys Jones who unnervingly put keeper Rory Williams the wrong to seal the points.

Tenby gained a comfortable five-goal victory against Herbrandston at the Clicketts.
 
It’s fair to say that new boys Herbie are finding hard to find their feet in the top flight, and already it’s looking as if it's going to be a long hard season.
 
However, Tenby are currently riding high at the top of the table as put Herbie to the sword.
 
Spencer Williams found the back of the net with the very first attack. New signing Joe Leahy added his side’s second, before an unfortunate own goal brought up their third.
 
Some neat build up led to Jacob Hipkiss scoring the fourth also Spencer Williams added the fifth for his second of the game.
