Good win on the road for Wizards

 

Jason Griffiths - volleyed home the second goal for Merlins Bridge who narrowly won at KilgettyKilgetty 1 – Merlins Bridge 2

 

Merlins Bridge deservedly gained a narrow victory against Kilgetty at the Kingsmoor Ground.
 
This was the Wizards’ seventh win of the campaign which sees them go one place above Kilgetty in seventh spot in the table.
 
Hayden Dimond opened the scoring in the 29th minute as the striker struck a wicked 25 yard free kick which Kilgetty goalkeeper Kurtis Marsh didn’t stand a chance of stopping.
 
Minutes earlier Dimond struck the crossbar with his trademark free kick, shortly after the break the Wizards struck a second goal three minutes after the interval as Josh Thomas’ superb Crossfield ball found Jason Griffiths inside the box, the striker struck a vicious volley into the roof of the net.
 
Two minutes later Kilgetty pulled a goal back as Jordan Richards byline cut back fell invitingly for Richard Tebbutt to find the back of James Dickson’s net.
 
Shortly after the final whistle Wizards manager Mike Preddy said: “I think we were good value for our win today.”

Swifts edge victory over struggling Rooks

Monkton Swifts scored a goal in each half to secure victory over struggling Carew at Monkton Lane.
 
This was the Swifts’ tenth win of the season as they leap-frog close neighbours Pennar Robins into fourth in the table whilst The Rooks are precariously positioned third from bottom.
 
The hosts opened the scoring in the 29th minute as Jack Clarke assisted for Connor Davies to find the back of Jack Harries’ net.
 
Monkton bagged an important second goal in the 79th minute as substitutes Lee Duignan and Jason Finnegan combined for the latter to score.

Vikings seal victory against spirited Pennar

A second half performance earned Hakin United a hard fought victory against a spirited Pennar Robins outfit at the Obs.
 
The Vikings opened the scoring in the 29th minute as Ashley Bevan’s deep cross was met by a powerful Shane Walsh far post header.
 
The Robins equalised five minutes later Nick Willis’ cross was half cleared by The Vikings which allowed the ever alert Ben Adams to drill home from 12 yards as it stayed 1-1 at half time.
 
The Vikings added a crucial second goal on 64 minutes as Shane Walsh and Liam Parks combined for Ashley Bevan to score with a superb diving header.
 
Three minutes later Scott Davies’ Vikings added a third midfielder Jack Britton played a neat pass to Parks, the striker wasted no time as he struck a low edge of the box drive which beat Robins’ keeper Rory Williams to complete the scoring.

Tenby leave it late to beat gritty Tish

Jerome Williams bagged a stoppage time winner for Tenby against gritty St Ishmaels a the Clicketts.
 
Tenby opened the scoring in the seventh minute as Spencer Williams assisted for Joey Leahy to find the back of the net.
 
After the break the visitors equalised in the 83rd minute as Brennan Devonald set-up Finley Armstrong who made no  mistake from inside the box.
 
Five minutes from full time Tish were reduced to ten men as Aaron Hallam picked up a second yellow card from referee Dean Driscoll.
 
Tenby made sure of the numerical advantage as Williams struck with a late stoppage time winner to break Tish's hearts.
