Spencer Williams - scored a terrific 25 yarderCarew scored twice in each half to easily despatch of Waunarlwydd Galaxy at the Rec and reach the last eight of the competition.
 
Waunarlwydd Galaxy currently sit in ninth place in the Swansea Senior League – Division One.
 
Ceri Brace’s Rooks soaked up the early pressure from the visitors, once they settled they started to get on top.
 
In the 25th minute the hosts opened the scoring with a terrific 25 yard left footed strike by Spencer Williams which flew in the bottom corner.
 
Thirteen minutes later they doubled the lead as the dangerous left sided winger Archie Smith crossed to James Hinchliffe who made no mistake from close range.
 
Nine minutes after half time the Rooks added a crucial third as Adam Muskett set-up Adam Muskett who made no mistake.
 
In the 69th minute Muskett added his side’s fourth thanks to an assist by the excellent Spencer Williams.
 
The 2019 finalists will now go into the hat for the mouth-watering quarter final draw.

Battling Goodwick United bow out against a strong Pontlliw outfit

Goodwick United bowed out as they were narrowly beaten by a solid all round Pontlliw outfit at Pontlliw Park.
 
Pontlliw are top of the Carmarthenshire Premier League with an impressive perfect played seven won seven record.
 
After a tight opening 45 minutes it remained goalless at half time with everything to play for in the second half of a hard fought tie.
 
The visitors got the crucial winner a minute after half time as Adam Scott struck much to the delight of the hosts’ fans.
 
Chris O’Sullivan’s Goodwick troops continued to battle, but they could no unlock the strong defence led by former Haverfordwest County central defender Sam Rodon.

Vikings are quarter final bound thanks to Woodrow's superb hat-trick and Walsh's brace

 

Nicky Woodrow - scored a superb hat-trick for Hakin at West EndWest End 0 – Hakin United 5

 
Nicky Woodrow bagged a superb hat-trick which earned the Vikings an impressive five-goal win against West End at Pryderi Park Stadium.
 
West End are currently third from bottom of the West Wales Premier League, with a won three lost seven record.

Scott Davies’ Vikings put West End to the sword as they led 4-0 at the break.
 
The visitors bagged four goals in a superb fourteen minute spell, firstly Woodrow opened the scoring from a neat Jack Britton assist.
 
Shane Walsh put in a pinpoint cross for Woodrow to head home the second.
 
Some neat inter play led to midfielder Ryan Wilson who set-up Walsh who banged in the third.
 
Leon Luby crossed for Walsh to bag his second of the tie as they took a commanding four-goal half time lead.
 
In the 67th minute Woodrow bagged his hat-trick as he powerfully headed home to ensure the Vikings have reached the quarter finals.
