Tigers knock Clarby out of Senior Cup and Swifts beat Neyland to return to top of table

There was some cracking Senior Cup action between Clarbeston Road versus JohnstonThere was Senior Cup second round action and just one Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division game played on Saturday.

Starting with the cup, there was an upset at the Knock Playing Field as First Division Clarbeston Road lost 3-4 against Johnston of the Second Division. Starring for The Tigers was Scott Crawford who grabbed a superb hat-trick and Ryan Doyle also scored for the visitors. Richard Bevan scored a brace and Ben John slotted home for Clarby who had to settle for second best in an exciting seven goal thriller.

First Division, Fishguard Sports won 6-0 against Milford Athletic who play in the third division. Danny Hopkin netted a brace alongside goals from Niall Kinsella penalty, Jake Booth, Matt Harries and an own goal.

In an all Second Division affair, Hundleton beat Milford United 2-1 at home. Billy Davis and Geraint Lewis struck for the winning side whilst Neil Mathias scored for The Robins.

In an all First Division tie, Pennar Robins were trounced 2-10 at home against holders Merlins Bridge. Joe Leahy 4, Adam Hawkins 3, Will Haworth, Jordan Williams and Ben Davies have scored for The Wizards, and in reply Jack Phillips and Danno Kitts netted for the home outfit.

First Division St Clears won 5-0 at home against Cosheston of the Third Division. Sean Seymour-Davies scored twice for The Saints and William Evans, Andrew McCabe and an own goal completed the rout.

Second Division, St Ishmaels lost 0-2 against Goodwick United of the First Division. Both goals came in the second half and Matty Delaney and Rhys Dalling both found the back of the net.

There was only one game played in the First Division and it saw Monkton Swifts return to the top of the table after they comfortably despatched of Neyland 4-0 at Monkton Lane. There was a goal each for Ben Steele, Dylan Davies, Ryan Griffiths and Blake James.
