As the poor weather hit the county it then decided to rain goals in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division.

In the early kick-off, Goodwick United won 5-0 at home against second from bottom Hundleton. Stephen Evans grabbed a hat-trick alongside goals by Lewis Banks and Jac Pepper.

The highest scoring match of the afternoon saw Johnston beat arch rivals Merlins Bridge 7-4 at home. Nicky Woodrow scored five with Steve Mills and a Luke Hayward penalty completing the scoring for the rampant Tigers. Stephen McNabney (2), Joe John and Daniel Bryce netted for the visitors.

Neyland stunned Monkton Swifts by winning 5-0 at home. Nathan Warlow (2), Joe Craxford, Scott Jones and Andrew Kemp scored for the delighted Nomads.

Hakin United stay top of the table after winning 0-7 at Pennar Robins. Ashley Bevan (3), Matthew Broome and Paul Jones all found the back of the net for the mighty Vikings.

St Ishmaels lost 1-5 against third placed Narberth. Jordan Williams scored a superb hat-trick alongside goals by Ashley Williams and Ade Jones. Tish battled hard and were rewarded with a solitary goal scored by Shaun Standan.

Saundersfoot Sports lost 0-4 at home to derby rivals Tenby. Jack Christopher, Jake Proctor, Sam Christopher and a penalty by Billy Vaughan earned the Seasiders the precious points.

A goal by Josh Jones midway through the second half earned St Clears a slender 0-1 victory at West Dragons.
