Haverfordwest Gymnastics Club (Winners):
Haverfordwest Gymnastics Club provides inclusive training for all ages and abilities, from toddlers to adults. The club recently added six new classes, enhancing opportunities for 45 more gymnasts. Under Head Coach Daisy Griffiths, the Artistic Gymnastics and tumbling squads have excelled, with athletes achieving top places, including several national championships. The club has grown with support from dedicated coaches and volunteers who make gymnastics accessible, fun, and rewarding. Known for its warm, supportive environment, the club continues to foster confidence and skill, setting a benchmark for clubs in Pembrokeshire.
Camrose AFC Girls and Women’s Club (Runners-Up):
Camrose AFC Girls and Women’s Club continues to champion female participation in football across all age groups. With over 75 active players, the club fields teams in every local league, from U8s to women’s divisions. The club has celebrated notable achievements, including a junior player debuting for Wales. Recently, Camrose partnered with FAW on a pilot project to encourage teenage girls to engage in recreational football. Camrose actively dismantles barriers, providing accessible football opportunities and establishing itself as a crucial club system for female athletes in Pembrokeshire.
Strength Academy Wales Cymru (Runners-Up):
SAW Cymru is a beacon of sporting excellence and inclusivity, guiding athletes from grassroots to international achievements. Club members have claimed Welsh, British, and international titles across weightlifting, powerlifting, athletics, and swimming, with representation at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships and international powerlifting events in South Africa. The club’s volunteers have officiated globally, even earning recognition at 10 Downing Street. Their transformative community programs, including ‘Raise the Bar’ for youth and Age-Well for seniors, enrich lives through improved strength, fitness, and camaraderie.
