League wins for Merlins Bridge, Hakin United, Narberth and Monkton Swifts

Richard Hughes clears the danger for Merlins Bridge who beat Carew 3-1 at the Racecourse
Four games were played in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League First Division on Saturday.
Starting with the game of the afternoon, Merlins Bridge defeated arch rivals Carew
3-1 at the Racecourse.
Joe Leahy claimed an excellent treble to secure the points for the Wizards, and Max Brindley netted for the Rooks.
Hakin United won
3-1 against Pennar Robins at the Obs. The Vikings’ goals were shared by Nicky Woodrow, Daniel Armstrong and Justin Harding, Ben Adams replied in vain for Pennar.
Clarbeston Road was thrashed
2-7 against Narberth at Knockfield. Chris Brown and Jordan Williams collected a hat-trick each and Karl Jones added another for the flying Bluebirds. The Road goal scorers were Josh Wood and Jason Griffiths.
Monkton Swifts won
5-2 against Neyland at Monkton Lane. Ryan Griffiths 2, Jimmy Russell, Thomas Powell and Blake James netted for the Swifts, and the Nomads’ scorers were Ollie Hughes and Mikey Chandler.
Senior Cup, Round One, with the fixture reversed, Herbrandston won
3-1 at home against Llangwm/Haverfordwest CC. Scott Reid scored a brace alongside an own goal for the victors, and Martin John scored the visitors’ only goal.
Senior Cup, Round Two, this tie was also reversed and Hundleton lost
0-4 at home against Saundersfoot Sports. The Sports’ goal scorers were Nicky Cope 2, Ben Gray and Adam Davidson.
