Two very talented young boxers from the Pembroke & Pembroke Dock Amateur Boxing Club recently distinguished themselves by winning titles in their respective weight categories at the Welsh Championships, recently held at the Welsh Institute of Sport, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
 
James Probert (48kgs) confirmed his status as a boxer regularly featuring at the very highest levels of the world rankings with an outstanding display of his boxing skills as he beat Joseph Tobin, (Hornets ABC) with a unanimous points’ victory.
 
Ryan Christopher (54kgs) was equally as impressive as he boxed really well behind his excellent jab and counter hitting to outbox Sonny Riley (Llandudno ABC, North Wales), again with a unanimous verdict from the judges. 
 
As a result of these successes, both boxers are now through to the British championships which are to be held on the 30th April at same venue.
