JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference

Cardiff Metropolitan University 1 - Haverfordwest County 1

It finished all square between Cardiff Mett versus Haverfordwest County at the Cyncoed Campus under lights on Friday evening.

Games between these two teams are nearly always close affairs and this league tussle was no exception as it finished with both teams sharing the spoils at the final whistle.

The Bluebirds manager Tony Pennock made two changes to the starting line-up which drew with Caernarfon Town last time out, in came Iori Humphreys and Owain Jones.

The Archers took the lead five minutes before half time following a defensive blunder by the Bluebirds which led to a simple far post tap-in for Adam Roscrow as the hosts led 1-0 at half time.

The visitors equalised in the 68th minute as Owain Jones goal bound effort struck the post before The Archers Kelland Absalom was credited with an own goal as the ball rebounded off the goalkeeper as it fortuitously found the back of the net.

Neither side could find an elusive winner as the Bluebirds remain third in the table five points clear of fourth placed Caernarfon Town whilst the Archers sit in fifth position as the end of the season is fast approaching.
