Match One:
Whitland 54 for 4 (0) lost to Llanrhian 56 for 1 (14) by 5 wickets

Whitland found it hard going against a very experienced Llanrhian team but still battled hard and there were welcome signs of improvement as Alys John and Fflur Davies returned to action.
They lost Louise Lancey and Zoe Morris early on but then Fflur (one four and three threes) and Hannah Legg steadied things down but departed at key times as they tried to build momentum – and Alys only had enough deliveries to rap two fours to demonstrate her batting skills before they ran out of time as Amanda John and Carrie Slack were the pick of the Llanrhian bowling attack.
Amada John started her innings with a straight six but then departed, although Carrie Slack was in fine fettle as she sped to 25 and retired with two threes, two fours and two sixes to her name before it was left to Katy Jenkins and Abbey Ladd to see Llanrhian home in only 4.2 overs.
Whitland Innings: Fflur Davies 15, Hannah Legg 14, Alys John 8*. Amanda John 1-8, Carrie Slack 1-9
Llanrhian Innings: Carrie Slack 25*. Alys John 1-15
Match Two:
Whitland 86 for 4 (2) lost to Pembroke 87 for 1 (15) by 5 wickets

Congratulations to Pembroke on winning their first match of the competition against Whitland, who showed an improvement with a much bigger score, although both teams conceded a fair number of extras but also fielded well as a bonus – and they played out a dramatic latest over in the process.
It was Whitland who seemed favourites to win their first match as Pembroke needed 16 runs, but with the help of a few extras it was Bobby Neale and Ginny Davies who grabbed the three runs for the narrowest of wins for a delighted Pembroke contingent.
Again, it was Alys John and Fflur Davies leading Whitland on the batting front as Alys hit an excellent straight six before she had to retire and Fflur striking one boundary as she scored quickly as she faced only 11 balls before she was bowled by Bobby Neale and Extras was the only other significant contributor to their cause as Bobby Neale and Karen Evans had the best figures in the Pembroke attack.
Pembroke lost Chloe Jones with the score on 13 as Fflur Davies pouched a good return catch but then Kim Barnes and Bobby Neale hit two fours apiece before a speedy cameo by Ginny Davies saw Pembroke to victory as 21 extras kept them in contention as Louise Clancy, Fflur and Alys all bowled tight spells for Whitland before Pembroke edged home in that tense finale.
Whitland Innings: Alys John 28* Fflur Davies 23, Extras 21. Bobby Neale 1-10, Karen Evans 1-16
Pembroke Innings: Kim Barnes 25*, Bobby Neale 20*, Ginny Davies 13*. Fflur Davies 1-9, Alys John 0-12
Match Three:
Cresselly 79 all out (13) beat Llanrhian 65 for 4 (5) by 14 runs
Cresselly and Llanrhian are two of the more experienced teams in Ladies’ Indoor Cricket and they showed why in a relatively low-scoring tussle before the former club held their nerve just that little better to ease home by 14 runs.
Lucy Johnson was bowled early by Amanda John after the Cresselly opener’s two scoring shots were a six and five – and they also lost Caitlin Lewis, Ava Midgley, Chris Toy and Meg Arthur run out as Llanrhian fielded well, although Meg did have six threes in a neat 19 before she was fourth to go by the same mode of dismissal. Skipper Jesse Arthur was then removed for a duck by Katy Jenkins but Cresselly’s low tally of 53 runs off the bat was boosted by a massive number of extras extras so at least they had a reasonable, but not hugely challenging, total after their eight overs.
But that target for Llanrhian suddenly seemed a much bigger challenge as they lost Amanda John and Katy Jenkins in their first over by Lucy Johnson, both run out as the pressure told - but Carrie Slack and Julia Robinson both batted well before Julia became the third run out victim just when she looked likely to carry her bat. Carrie had gone a little earlier, well caught by Caitlin Lewis off Lucy, and although Abbey Ladd took up the challenge with three threes and four boundaries in her excellent innings where she was joined late on by her sister Chelsea; but with Cresselly only conceding seven extras they were able to seal a deserved victory as their reward.
Cresselly Innings: Lucy Johnson 11, Meg Arthur 19 Extras 26
Llanrhian Innings: Carrie Slack 11, Julia Robertson 18, Abbey Ladd 24*. Lucy Johnson 1-18, Meg Arthur 0-13
Match Four:
Cresselly 121 for 1 (16) beat Pembroke 43 all out (0) by 78 runs
Cresselly made it a third win from four starts this campaign as they proved too strong for Pembroke as they batted first to build up a huge score in only eight overs and then bowled Pembroke out in only 6.5 overs.
Cresselly suffered an early blow as they lost Lauren Davies with the total on 3 but then Lucy Johnon retired after facing only nine deliveries, Ava Midgley did the same from the same number of balls faced and Caitlin Lewis was their third retiree, having faced only four balls more. The onslaught continued as Jessie Lewis also retired having struck two boundaries in her nine balls faced and Meg Arthur finished with nine runs from six balls as Jodie Lewis was the only Pembroke wicket-taker.
The pressure of having to chase such a daunting tally soon told on Pembroke as only Jamie Moseley managed to stay long but with all the Cresselly bowlers supported by excellent fielding it proved too much for Pembroke as they were dismissed with seven balls left of their allotted overs.
Cresselly Innings: Lucy Johnson 27*, Ava Midgley 25*’ Caitlin Lewis 25*, Jessie Lewis 26*. J Lewis 1-28
Pembroke Innings: Jamie Moseley 18. Lauren Davies 2-17, Caitlin Lewis 1-17, Megan Arthur 1-1, Lucy Johnson 2-3
