Real success for Laurie and Robert

The top acoustic shooter from Tenby won his first national Gold in division 10 in 2011 and the following year he was promoted to division 8, which he also promptly won.
This year he found himself in division 6, which he has now won and is likely to be promoted yet again for the coming season, which is not bad for someone who only started shooting in March 2011!
Robert Brown, Laurie’s shooting companion at the club, is also doing well; notching up another win recently in the West Kent League with another medal to add to his collection.

Angela Miles, disability sports development officer for Sport Pembrokeshire – Pembrokeshire County Council’s sports development service - presented both men with their medals recently.
“Laurie and Robert are a great credit as just two of the stalwarts from the Modern Print Target Club, which is going from strength to strength,” she said.
