Last month, four members of Crymych Panthers’ Boccia Club travelled to Newport to compete at the 2023 Welsh Boccia  Championships and the quartet all did well to show just how much progress they have made recently.

Rachel Bailey bowled superbly to win the gold medal  in the BC1 classification, whilst Sian Jones won Silver in the BC2 classification as she once again showed her capability at this level.


Ioan Williams also won Silver in the BC4 classification with team mate Lewis Crawford taking Bronze; both boys have only been at the club a few months and showing  immense talent for the sport.
 
As a bonus, Ioan was presented with a set of Boccia Balls for showing potential for development.

These players are now eagerly awaiting news on qualification to represent Wales at the UK Championships at Warwick in November and we at PembrokeshireSport.co.uk wish them every success as they fly our county’s Boccia flag with distinction across Wales.
