Delighted Seago and Broome receive Wales Vets Caps

Two footballers formally of Milford Haven were thrilled to have been awarded Wales Veterans Caps.

Robert Seago (over 55 and 60) and Brian Broome (over 60) received their prestigious caps for playing for Wales representative teams for three years.

Seago, who attended Milford Haven Grammar School and Hakin man Broome, a pupil at Milford Haven Central School.

At a special presentation evening the pair received their coveted caps from FAW Chief Executive Noel Mooney.

Both of them currently play for Swansea Veterans in the Wales Veterans Football League.

Back in the 1970’s early 80’s, Broome regularly played for the Petroleum Club and St Ishmaels in the Pembrokeshire League whilst Seago turned out for Milford United at Youth, Pembrokeshire League, and Welsh League levels.

“We still really enjoy playing,” said Seago. “Brian and I were really chuffed to receive our Wales Vets Caps.”
