Clunderwen win to reach Welsh Netball Finals
On Wednesday 5th June the annual YFC Pembrokeshire Netball Championships took place at Tasker Milward Dome and Clunderwen played really well to qualify for the National Finals.
Teams from all across the county battled against each other and Clunderwen YFC played some fantastic netball throughout the tournament and showcased some real skill, talent and athleticism.
Clunderwen were able to beat off stiff competition from Keeston YFC, Llys Y Fran YFC and South Pembs YFC from Pool A and convincingly beat Hermon YFC in the final. Clunderwen YFC will now represent Pembrokeshire in the Welsh National Netball Finals which are being held in Lampeter on the 22nd June.
A special thank you to Stephanie Morgan who organised this prestigious event as well as to Mel (Chaos Netball) and Alice (Pembroke Netball) who kindly umpired the whole event.
