Lee Scott
29 - Road Maintenance Foreman
Goal Keeper
Lee has been at the club since he played for Huw Bevan’s under 8 team, other than a short stint last season at Prendergast Villa. Now back in goal with Clarbie and playing really well, taking control of his area and pulling off key saves, as he did in the semi-final in their victory against Merlins Bridge.

Rheinallt George
22 - Electrician
Right Back
Reinallt has played for Clarbie for over a decade, including throughout his junior days as he travelled down from Maenclochog. He is strong in the tackle and a very good reader of the game with his ability to cut out danger at an early stage – and enjoys pushing forward when the chance arises so that he can utilise his boundless energy.
Dan Rees
36 - Process Operator
Central Defender
Dan knows all that makes Clarbie tick after 29 unbroken years in their colours – and typifies what is good about the club he has served well for so long. Despite being the oldest player in the squad he is currently as fit as he’s ever been in preparation for his third Welsh Iron Man in four years. Ran the London Marathon the day after last year’s final and is held in regard as a tough tackling central defender, who loves to command the aerial duels!
Tom Glover
26 - Farrier
Central Defender
Tom is a versatile player who has been at Clarbie for five seasons and likes to march forward at set-pieces, from which he has grabbed three goals so far this season. This tough farrier has formed a powerful defensive partnership with Dan Rees as he is adept at plugging gaps, as well as being a strong tackler and another committed player in the air.
Llewellyn George
27 - Works on family farm
Left Back
The quiet man of the team who lets his actions speak louder than words, other than the odd short conversation in Welsh with younger brother Reinallt in the family full back partnership. Llewelyn is another player who has only played for his one club after coming through the junior ranks. He is a natural left-footed player whose tough tackling is matched by his ability to stay calm under pressure.
Mike Turpin
33 - Estate Agent
Central Midfielder
Mike uses his experience to good effect as he loves to sit in midfield and use his accurate left foot to good effect at corners and free kicks as he plays the ball into the danger zone with telling effect Links well with his player/manager in midfield and not afraid to do some work in defence if called upon. He will look to raise the spirits if the going gets tough by spraying the ball into open spaces for others to run onto.
Josh Wood
17 - Student
Right Wing
Josh is still the youngster in the side but plays with a maturity beyond his years who has settled in well to senior football as he uses his pace and growing strength to good effect. Will remember his first goal for Clarbie’s first team – it was the winner against Goodwick United in last year’s semi semi-final, which he says is akin to recently passing his driving test!
Matthew Davies
22 - Student
Midfield
Played in last season’s final as goalkeeper but now creates a bit of unusual history as he is back where he has played most of his senior football since his time between the sticks in his junior days. Loves to run the ball down the flanks as he travels from defence to attack; and as well as being a very good footballer he helps Huw Bevan coach and referee some of the juniors, having gained his ‘C’ Licence through Clarbie and his ‘B’ Licence during his time at Cardiff Met.
Jason Griffiths
30 - Biomedical Scientist
Striker
Jason is in his second year as club captain after joining Clarbie from West Dragons several years ago as a proven goal grabber. Still a key attacker with the ability to score spectacular goals from outside the box as well as lurking for simple tap-ins with his unerring nose for goals as a constant threat in the opposition penalty area. Defences can never relax if he is about and after 40+ goals last campaign is close to 30 again despite missing several games.
Richard Bevan
28 - Teaching Assistant
Striker
A terrific club man who is currently unable to play because of a nasty knee injury, but still helping out in his only club, swapping his goal-scoring duties for being the team’s water boy during matches!
Matthew Griffiths
29 - Process Operator
Utility Player
‘Maestro’ hails from Slebech and is the undoubted joker of the pack who can play in almost any position and sure to play an important part role in the final as a result. He has been with the club right throughout the junior ranks and shows 100% commitment on the field, with skill aplenty allied to real strength in the tackle and good distribution skills.
Tom Reubens
24 - Student
Attacker
Tom came in to the side after Richard Bevan’s injury and doing a good job up front with his ability to hold the ball up well alongside his natural nose for goals. He was on the bench last campaign after coming through a late fitness test and will run his heart out in the final to provide the perfect foil for his strike partner. Definitely the deadliest toe poker in the league, he is one to watch out for in key performance terms!
Ieuan Cooke
22 - Leisure Centre Worker
Midfield
Having just completed his studies at Cardiff Met is now being involved in promoting sport with Pembrokeshire County Council in in his first season at the club and could lay claim to scoring the late winner in the semi-final, albeit via a deflection! Super fit, as you would expect of a former Welsh triathlete
Steffan Thomas
19 - Apprentice Engineer
Striker
Steff played regularly throughout junior football with Clarbie and after playing for the second string last season has begun to make an impact at first team level – and will be thrilled to be in consideration for the ‘Big Day’.
Matthew Ellis
33 - IT Technician
Player Manager
Second season with the managerial reins whilst still being an important midfield player still in his own right. Previously played in a Senior Cup Final with Haverfordwest County and still very skilful and organised on the pitch, as he is in his off-field duties – and rightly held in high regard by all at Clarbeston Road.
Jason Wood
48 - Assistant Manager
NHS Estate Manager
Jason is the proud dad of young Josh and after giving great service at Lawrenny joined Clarbie a decade ago – and looked after the junior team from under 8 to under 16 before they finished last campaign. As well as helping his manager on match days he also fulfils another vital role as manager of the seconds as a great club man who gives 100% to the cause!
Matthew Fox
35 - Estates Manager
Fitness Coach
‘Foxy’ played for Clarbeston Road amongst other clubs and was previously assistant manager before deciding to have one last season of playing with Prendergast Villa last campaign, thus missing Clarbie’s first final appearance. But back as fitness coach alongside the management team of Ellis and Wood – and hugely respected by the current squad for his ability to get the best out of players on the pitch!
Steve Glover
Not disclosed! - Farrier
Club Flag Man
Steve is perhaps better known in boxing circles as a very accomplished referee and judge but since his son Tom started out with Clarbie he has taken up the flag and been heavily involved running up and down the touchline. Convinced that he is the fastest linesman in the county but will take a deserved rest for the final because there are neutral officials!
