Manderwood Mob beat The Expert to set up a tense finale
The Manderwood Mob beat the Expert 7-5 to level matters going into the last week of predicitions. Manderwood Mob predicted two right scorelines and The Expert got one scoreline correct, to set up a tense finale. The Manderwood Mob are brimming with confidence - but complacency will surely creep in and that's where The Expert will pounce and is confident that they will fall next week - just like the timber in the work yard!

30th January 2010
The Manderwood Mob held The Expert to a 6-all draw last Saturday as both correctly tipped the right score in one game and did quite well in others – but it is The Expert that carries a two-point advantage into what is the third round of four this Saturday.
So can Chris Tansey and his six assistants make up ground this weekend? The Expert says that he heard they had even tries to recruit Daisy Picton to strengthen their squad but he is too busy helping out with the Academy nippers at Haverfordwest County to offer his considerable expertise.
The lads again have met over a cup of coffee to discuss the games, presided over by Tansey, and last weekend saw Justin ‘Skinny’ Harding pick up £15 for winning on the day. The Expert says that young ‘Skinny’, who is a single boy, should donate the money to the Haiti Relief Fund – and all seven Manderwood workers should cough up even more when he beats them again this weekend!
The Expert added,
“If seven of them can’t beat me they don’t know much about local football – and I fully expect to extend my lead on Saturday!”

The Manderwood Mob’s Forecasts
Senior Cup:
Haverfordwest County 3 - Kilgetty 1
Scott Davies amazingly went for a draw here but the rest of us felt that Haverfordwest would win comfortably!Merlins Bridge 3 - Neyland 1
Sean Hannon thinks Neyland will win 3-0 but the others believe the Wizards will be far too strong for the Nomads despite the fact that Neyland have been playing well.Prendergast Villa 1 - Hundleton 2
This was a tough one since we had three home wins, three away wins and one draw so Chris (Tansey) pulled rank and we went for his away win forecast!Tenby 2 - Narberth 1
It shows how close this one could be as well because we had four home wins, two away wins and a draw so we decided that Tenby would make amends for last week’s disappointing league result.Division One:
Goodwick United 4 - Monkton Swifts 0
We were 100% on this game since Goodwick should be far too strong for the Swifts, with scores ranging from 3-0 to 5-0 so went for the score in the middle!Pennar Robins 4 - Clarbeston Road 0
Same again here – we were all agreed but had scores from 2-0 to 6-0, so we went for something in the middle!Solva 1 - Hakin United 4
Justin Harding believes Solva might get a draw (that’s because he plays for Milford United!) but all the rest of us think Hakin will win with something to spare, in spite of Solva’s excellent win last Saturday. The Expert’s Scorecasts
